We’ve been car camping ever since we were married, and having babies didn’t stop us. We’ve developed our packing list over the years, and it covers all of the essentials. One year we packed all of our camping equipment and three kids into a small four door car, and still managed to have enough room for everything. We’ve got this down to a science!
There are 3 main categories of things you’ll need: Clothing & Personal Items, Camping & Cooking Equipment, and Food.
Here’s our Packing List, free for you to print and use for your own car camping trip! I’ve even included a 7 day sample menu.
