This Pillsbury hack is waaay too good to keep to myself!
Seriously, these rolls are a cross between cinnamon rolls and pumpkin heaven. Just when you thought cinnamon rolls couldn’t get any better!
This should be the Official Dessert of Autumn. But I do have to warn you — these rolls have so many calories, it’s ridiculous. I mean, look at the amount of butter and cream cheese in them!
Or maybe not. Just ignore how much fat is in these rolls, and enjoy them!
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup pumpkin pie filling or pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup butter
- 250mL cream cheese
- 2 cans Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Spray 2-9 inch pans with non-stick spray.
- Open and place cinnamon rolls in pans, evenly spread out. Save icing for later.
- Place brown sugar, pumpkin, butter and cream cheese in a saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat til it just starts to bubble, while stirring contantly.
- Pour pumpkin mixture over cinnamon rolls.
- Bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
- Serve rolls upside down, and drizzle with warm icing if desired.
- Enjoy!
