Christmas is coming! And with it comes the hustle and bustle of lists, shopping, baking, planning, cleaning, hosting and traveling. But there’s one thing we plan on doing this year, to make sure that craziness doesn’t make us forget about what we’re really celebrating – the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We’ll be celebrating the four weeks leading up to Christmas with a family time each day led by Abraham’s Advent, by Lindsey Gallant.
Abraham’s Advent is a devotional covering the four weeks of Advent that can just as easily be used for personal devotions as well as family devotions.
On Sundays, there is a story to read. It’s a narrative that winds it’s way through the ebook, concluding on the final Sunday. On Monday through to Friday, a quick thought and some verses for reflection are included, as well as space to write your thoughts. This open-ended approach is wonderful for encouraging discussions with children, even young ones.
Advent starts on November 29th this year, and I’m looking forward to working through this ebook with my husband and children. It’s only $2.99 at AbrahamsAdvent.ga.
And as a bonus, a percentage of the proceeds will go to support Preemptive Love Coalition, and organization that provides life-saving heart surgeries to children in Iraq.
This contest is open to anyone around the world, and one PDF copy will be emailed to the winner.
