Friday Night Cheesy Monkey Bread

You know me, I’m all about the easy – anything that takes too much of my time, energy, money or patience is not worth it (except for super special occasions). That’s why I love this scaled back version of Pull-Apart bread that can be as cheesy as you like.

It’s perfect for a Friday night pasta dinner – you know, when you’ve had a long week and you may or may not have remembered to pull something out of the freezer to defrost in time for dinner.  Set this on the table with some spaghetti and Cesar salad, and you’re off the hook!

PillsburyPostIngredientsIngredients:

-Pillsbury Country Biscuits

-2 tbsp of Italian Dressing

-1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese (or as much as you like of whatever cheese you have on hand)

-2 tsp of Parmesan cheese (or however much you like)

-dried italian herb mix to garnish (optional)

Directions:

-Preheat the oven to 375 F and spray a round 9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray

-Open the Pillsbury biscuits and cut each round into 4 pieces.

-Toss the biscuit pieces in the dressing, making sure to coat each thoroughly.

-Spread the biscuit pieces in the pan in a single layer as much as possible.

-Sprinkle with both cheeses.

-Bake for about 10 minutes.  Keep an eye on them as they’re not so great overcooked.

-Enjoy with a fork, or do what our family does and pull it apart with your fingers!
