The other day we headed to our local pick-your-own farm to gather some peas. Most of us love sugar snap peas, and according to what I could find online, we were right in the middle of harvest season. It was perfect timing to go pea picking!
Except that it wasn’t. When we arrived, we found that pea season actually ended about a month ago. But it turned out for the best, because that meant we could go blueberry picking!
Of course, with so many berries, I had to come up with a way to enjoy them right away. Besides eating them on their own, in the field, on the wagon ride back to the van, in the van on the way home … well, you get the idea.
So I thought I’d see what I could come up with in the way of an easy and quick recipe for Blueberry Cobbler. Bisquick is the secret ingredient in this recipe.
These berries were baked and in my tummy within two hours after picking them. Talk about fresh!
